We normally charge R500.00 for this service, but we’re including it as part of your package to ensure your website is set up for success from the start!

We will set up your website with Google Analytics.

A sitemap is a crucial part of ensuring your website is easily discoverable by search engines like Google. Think of it as a roadmap that guides search engines through your website’s pages, helping them understand your site’s structure and content.

We will generate a sitemap and submit it to Google for crawling and indexing of your website. This ensures that Google can find and index all your important pages. Without a sitemap, some of your pages might go unnoticed.

We’ve found that 99% of websites with a search button fail to capture the keywords visitors type into their search bar. While Google captures the keywords people use to find your website, it doesn’t track what they search for once they’re on your site. This missed opportunity means you could be overlooking valuable insights into what your visitors are looking for.

Engagement & Communication

We will create a contact form with up to 5 fields (Name, Surname, Email, Phone, and Remarks) to make it easy for visitors to get in touch with you. The form will be spam-protected, which effectively blocks automated bots and crawlers from submitting automated spam.

However, it’s important to note that while the spam protection prevents bots and crawlers from flooding your inbox, it cannot stop individual visitors from manually typing and submitting spam content. That said, manual spam submissions are far less frequent and rapid compared to automated attacks, ensuring your inbox remains manageable and focused on genuine inquiries.

We will add social media buttons for Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn to allow visitors to easily share your content on their social media platforms.

Performance & Security

Optimising your website’s speed is essential for delivering a seamless user experience and staying competitive online. Additionally, search engines like Google prioritise faster websites in their rankings, meaning speed directly impacts your SEO performance. A score of 90 using Google PageSpeed will be our baseline.

We will install a premium plugin to enhance your website’s functionality and we’ll cover the cost for the first year. After the first year, the annual renewal fee of $25.00 will be your responsibility. However, this fee will be waived if we maintain your website on a monthly basis.

In most cases, HTTPS (secure communication between a server and a computer) will already be implemented. However, if it isn’t, we will set it up using the free Let’s Encrypt certificate. Please note that implementing HTTPS depends on how your hosting provider has configured their services in the web hosting control panel.

We will install a security plugin to provide your website with a layer of protection. While this plugin offers significant security benefits, it’s important to note that there are additional measures required to fully safeguard your website.

The plugin will send you email notifications whenever WordPress, a plugin, or your theme needs updating. Additionally, you’ll receive a weekly report detailing activities on your website, including suspicious IP addresses and usernames that hackers may use to attempt infiltration. This proactive approach helps you stay informed and take action to protect your website from potential threats.

We will install a backup plugin that allows you to create backups whenever needed. Once your website is completed, we will perform an initial backup and download it for safekeeping.

Additionally, we’ll provide you with clear, step-by-step instructions on how to create and download backups yourself, ensuring you have full control over your website’s data.

We will convert your images to .webp format before uploading them to your website. .webp is the new recommended, next-generation image format developed by Google. By utilising this modern format, your website will benefit from faster loading times, improving both user experience and SEO performance.

We will ensure your website is fully mobile-friendly, meaning it will display perfectly across all devices—whether it’s a desktop, tablet, or smartphone. With more users browsing on mobile devices, having a responsive design is crucial for providing a seamless experience. A mobile-friendly website not only improves user satisfaction but also boosts your search engine rankings, as Google prioritises mobile-optimised sites.

We will ensure your website runs on the latest version of PHP. Using the most up-to-date version of PHP enhances both security and performance, as it includes the latest features, optimisations, and security patches. Older versions of PHP can leave your website vulnerable to security risks and may result in slower performance. professionalism. Let me know if you need further adjustments!

We will install a plugin to monitor and capture 404 errors on your website. A 404 error occurs when a visitor tries to access a page that doesn’t exist, often due to broken links or deleted content. These errors can frustrate users and harm your website’s credibility. By addressing 404 errors, you’ll improve user experience and reduce bounce rates.

The plugin will also enable you to redirect 404 pages to relevant pages. We’ll provide you with steps on how to implement a redirect.

Once your website is completed, we will provide you with full Administrator-level login credentials. This gives you complete control over your website, allowing you to manage content, update pages, and make changes as needed.

We’ll provide free maintenance for 3 months (usually R250.00/month), which includes updates to WordPress, themes, and plugins, regular backups, security checks, and general maintenance. After 3 months, you can choose to continue the service for a fee.

Maintenance does not include making changes to your website or updating/adding content.

Turn Around Time

We aim to complete the first draft of your website between 15 to 20 working days after receiving all the necessary content. The website will first go live on our server under a temporary domain for previewing.
